Tiger’s Taproom is proudly hosting the Jack London Brewing District members for their first ever SF Beer Week event and tap takeover. Saturday, February 2, the JLBD breweries will be on hand at Tiger’s to premiere their latest collaboration: Barrel Aged Jack London Jam. This beer is a brett-fermented framboise aged for 9 months in Syrah barrels, much to the excitement of sour beer fans everywhere.
Federation Brewing, Independent Brewing, Oakland United Beerworks, and Original Pattern Brewing will all have a solo beer featured, giving you the chance to keep it SUPER local and try 5 beers all brewed in the Jack London district. Representative from the breweries will be on hand from noon on to answer any questions or have a pint. The Brewers will be talking about their new beers (and each other’s) in a Newly Brewed Panel at 6 PM. Opie’s Gourmet Stacked Burgers food truck parked right out front. This is an admissions free event. Tiger’s Taproom is a 21 and over venue.
The Jack London Brewing District was created this past year as forum for collaboration and community for businesses brewing in the Jack London neighborhood. The four founding breweries of the district are Independent Brewing (444 Harrison St.), Original Pattern Brewing (292 4th St.), Oakland United Beerworks (262 2nd St.), and Federation Brewing (420 3rd St.).
Tiger’s Taproom, co-founded by Brian Chan and Danny Gutierrez, opened this year in the Jack London neighborhood at 308 Jackson Street STE 4. They feature a diverse tap list of local craft beer, as well as selling packaged cans and bottles to go.
