Details
Join the first workshop of a 3-part series: Waterfront Voices Workshop Series, on Saturday, October 10 in Jack London Square.
By attending, you’ll learn more about how flooding can impact your community, share your perspective on how to improve resilience of our Oakland neighborhoods, check out the latest flood modeling, and weigh in on shoreline protection strategies.
Building on a successful first round of community feedback, it’s time to share more insights! This time, presenters will report out on the waterfront vulnerability assessment and share adaptation strategies for flooding and sea level rise.
At the workshop, there will also be:
- Snacks, food, and drinks
- Children’s activities
Interpretation and accommodation requests for people with disabilities may also be available upon RSVP.
Register for free to join us, and help spread the word in your community. All are welcome; capacity is limited.
The Waterfront Voices Workshop Series is part of the Port of Oakland Waterfront Resilience Plan, in partnership with the Oakland Alameda Adaptation Committee. Learn more at oaacadapt.org
