This First Saturday: OUB is kicking off "Pints with Purpose," where they will highlight a local nonprofit and donate a portion of every pint sold to support their work. This Saturday, they're featuring Friends of the Oakland Public Library. They'll be starting a community library in our taproom where folks can donate a gently used or new book and/or purchase any book from the collection to take home. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the books will go directly to Friends of the Oakland Public Library.

This First Saturday: Saturday brunch at Shapeshifters Café includes an ever-evolving, eclectic selection of offerings, all made to order with locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients like Veracruz Avocado Toast (with salsa mocha), Kimchi-laquiles, Beer-poached eggs and Croque Madames (with house-made Mornay sauce).
