The Grand Gallery* artists are holding a fundraiser for Ride 4A Reason which raises much needed money for 12 Oakland public schools.
The fundraiser happens all month long with a special Afternoon Social on March 22nd, 2-4pm at the Grand Gallery.
Chat with the cyclist, buy some art and partake in some yummy snacks as you support Oakland schools in need.
Since 2008, Ride 4 A Reason has raised over $2 million for public schools in Oakland and Alameda, providing resources and experiences that would not have been possible for more than 6,300 students per year. Last year over 325 riders cycled to Sacramento, raising over $225,000. As a result, twelve beneficiaries received between $11,000 and $14,000 to foster student learning, growth, leadership and success.
