The Jack London Improvement District is proud to present the first ever Taste of Jack London Beer and Food Festival!
When: Saturday, August 2nd, from 1-5PM (VIP only hour from 12-1PM)
Where: BLOC15 (252 2nd St) plus the surrounding blocks and Amtrak plaza!
Join us for the Taste of Jack London beer & food festival, a vibrant celebration of Oakland’s craft beer and culinary scene, co-hosted by the Jack London Improvement District and the Jack London Brewing District. This revamped version of our beloved Jack London Brewing District Block Party—now in its fourth year—features a fresh new location and an exciting new twist: unlimited tastings from top local restaurants alongside incredible beer. Sip your way through unlimited samples from standout breweries like Cellarmaker Brewing, Original Pattern, Oakland United, Shapeshifters, and many more to be announced. Pair your pours with bites from neighborhood favorites like Xingones Cantina, Everett and Jones BBQ, Farmhouse Thai, and more. Choose a beer tasting ticket, a food tasting ticket—or go all in with both—and enjoy an unforgettable day in the heart of Jack London.

VIP Combination Tickets: Beat the lines and gain access to our VIP tasting hour. For $80 you can enjoy first-access to the event before the rush starting at 12pm as well as everything listed above and limited special beer releases only to be poured during the VIP session.
