The Jack London Improvement District is proud to present the Taste of Jack London Beer and Food Festival!
When: Saturday, August 15th, from 1-5PM (VIP only hour from 12-1PM)
Where: BLOC15 (252 2nd St) plus the surrounding blocks and Amtrak plaza!
Join us for the Taste of Jack London beer & food festival, a vibrant celebration of Oakland’s craft beer and culinary scene, co-hosted by the Jack London Improvement District and the Jack London Brewing District. This revamped version of our beloved Jack London Brewing District Block Party—now in its fifth year—will once again feature food tastings from top local restaurants alongside incredible Oakland-made beer.
Sip your way through unlimited samples from standout breweries like Cellarmaker Brewing, Original Pattern, Oakland United, Shapeshifters, and many more to be announced. Pair your pours with bites from neighborhood favorites like Xingones Cantina, Angel Cakes Cupcakes, and more. Choose a beer tasting ticket, a food tasting ticket—or go all in with both—and enjoy a day full of sunshine, music, and divine flavors in the heart of Jack London.

Beer Tasting Tickets: Presale tasting tickets are now on sale! Receive a commemorative 5 oz. tasting glass and unlimited tastings of dozens of beers starting for $40. Snag yours before the event when prices go up. Must be 21+ to purchase.
Food Tasting Tickets: Enjoy food tastings from Jack London restaurants like Xingones Cantina, Angel Cakes Cupcakes, and more TBA! Food tasting tickets start at $40 and cover 1 x small plate per participating restaurant. There are limited food-only passes available.
VIP Combination Tickets: Beat the lines and gain access to our VIP tasting hour. For $85 you can enjoy first-access to the event before the rush starting at 12pm as well as everything listed above and limited special beer releases only to be poured during the VIP session.
