For many in the Bay Area, Kermit Lynch needs no introduction. This iconic importer and distributor opened in Berkeley in 1972, paving the way for natural wine in the U.S. From the outset, Kermit showcased authentic, terroir-driven European wines from small producers–and five decades later, is responsible for some of the most iconic wines available in this country and on our shelves. We have the pleasure of working with Matt Gerloff to make our selections from this portfolio, and Matt will join us for a special tasting of wines that tell the story of Kermit’s impact.
