Celebrate Halloween with a Halloween-themed Bar & Food Crawl in the Jack London District! On Thursday, October 31st, we’re inviting you to dress up, explore the neighborhood, and enjoy tricks, treats, and drinks at some of Oakland's best local bars and restaurants. Think all the best parts of trick-or-treating plus all the best parts of being an adult!
This unique event offers a casual, adult-oriented way to celebrate Halloween on Halloween, and the best part—it’s FREE to attend!
What to Expect:
Participating businesses will be offering exclusive discounts to RSVP'd participants with wristbands! This event is FREE but keep an eye out for QR codes to donate to our community clean up project. Don’t miss this chance to experience the Jack London District in all its spooky glory!

Although some of our local businesses are 21+ only, family friendly businesses are noted on both our online and printed program, so feel free to bring kids along to those select businesses.
Is this event dog friendly?
Similarly to our answer above, some of our local businesses welcome your furry friends into their establishments. You can view which businesses are dog friendly by viewing our online program above or the printed program, which you'll be able to pick up at 333 Broadway on the day of the event.
I see this event is "donation optional." Where does my donation go?
Your donation will go to help funding our community clean up efforts! We need supplies such as gloves, trash bags, masks, litter pickers. We hope to plan semi-regular community clean up events and need $ to make these events possible.
Well it wouldn't be much of a mystery if we told you!... But what we can say is that they are purchased from a handful of our participating businesses and will be given out at random to those who visit *all* participating businesses on 10/31. No purchase necessary.
